Meditation Sitting Day 8 by Narong Hul
The Techniques:
1. Find a quiet place.
2. Sit with a comfortable posture (1 hour).
3 .Shut our eyes, ears, nose, mouth, body and emotion.
If the mind wanders, be aware and return to the sensation.
0-30 minutes
– Observe the in-out breath to experience Mindfulness.
– Observe the sensation under the nostril to experience Calmness.
Observe the sensation pouring from head to toe,
then reverse from toe to head. Repeat 3 times
Observe the sensation pouring from head to toe,
with an awareness of the body in and out sensation (insight),
then reverse from toe to head . Repeat 2 times
30-60 minutes
Observe the sensation sweeping part by part from head to toe.
Observe the sensation sweeping part by part from head to toe,
with an awareness of the body in and out sensation(insight),
Be aware of the sensation and accept with equanimity.
The defilement are degraded and extinguished.
Observe the sensation sweeping from head to toe in 1 breath,
with an awareness of the body in and out sensation (insight).
When the small defilement are completely exhausted ,
the practitioner will experiences one of five Joys.
1- Thrill sensation or 2- Float sensation
3- Cool sensation or 4- Wave sensation
5- Lightning sensation
Practitioner develops the Mundane Joy.
Be aware of the arising and vanishing of the breath.
Practitioner attains Supra Mundane Joy successfully.
