Happy Thanksgiving! Today’s Stevie and Sazan video will share one of our favorite Kurdish cuisines that I picked up from my mom – DOLMA! One of my favorite things about my Kurdish side is the yummy food I grew up on. Now that I’m married and learning how to cook meals like my mom, Dolma has been a tasty treat that my husband loves! We call Kurdish dolma ‘yaprak’ – it is a traditional dish that many of you may have tried at your local Mediterranean restaurant but ours is quite different in flavor. We love loading up on the spices! I hope you will give this dish a try. It will leave your taste buds forever obsessed with this dish. This recipe takes time (in the beginning expect 2-4 hours) but once you get the hang of it you can easily knock it out in less than 2! This is our first video from the kitchen.
