This video is a bit long, but it’s about one of my favorite topics as of late – public shaming. I watched a bit by John Oliver (Last Week Tonight) about public shaming. He discusses how we got here & the consequences of public shaming. His special guest is Monica Lewinsky – the media’s first online public shaming victim. Lewinsky is the heroine we need in this digital age. I elaborate on her ideas shared during her interview with Oliver & from her TED Talk. I tie things up with some YouTube drama hot topics by discussing 2 people currently being shamed online – Romeo Lacoste & Olivia Jade.
