Has anyone noticed the change in weather? I was in Los Angeles where I wrapped up a five day shoot on the beach! The sun was out and I had a wonderful trip up to Napa Valley this evening. I can’t wait to explore Napa, hang out with one of my friends from LA, and meet new people. It’s going to be a lot of wine, food, and laughter so make sure to follow along on instagram this week! I’ve been very healthy over the past few weeks and when I was in Amsterdam I filmed my best video EVER! This “What I Eat in a Day” is my favorite video I have filmed so far so I hope you guys leave me your notes in the comments and share it with your favorite people!
I was just in Amsterdam where I filmed for the first time in my apartment. This is the first time I’ve filmed in my kitchen in Amsterdam and the beautiful light made this video so much fun to create and then edit. I love food so much and I am always trying to be creative to transform unhealthy foods to tasty foods that are actually good for you! A good example is the dinner in this video. Many people restrict themselves from having pasta, pizza, cookies, and other carbs because of a fear that carbohydrates are unhealthy. My goal today is to show you how you can eat carbs in a well balanced diet and nourish your body, mind, and spirit… With my favorite go to pasta recipes!
I’ve continued working on adding more plant based meals to my diet and I’ve been lucky to eat at a few amazing vegan restaurants in Europe and New York City. Max and I have become rather obsessed with vegan restaurants. Has anyone here gone to Modern Love in Brooklyn? So far one of our favorite places we have gone. So I want to ask you guys to challenge me by asking me to create a recipe with an ingredient that you would like to see in a balanced meal. – 1 Banana
– 1 cup Frozen Berries
– 1 Raw Beet
– 1 cup Oatmilk ( or other plant-based milk)
– 1 tsp Chiaseed
– 1 tsp Cacao Nibs
– Honey/ Agave ( optional sweetener)
– 1 small Pumpkin ( Roast for 30 min in 400F with Olive Oil, Salt, Pepper, and red onions)
– 1 cup of Lentils
– 1 Red Onion
– Arugula/ Spinach
– Roasted Pumpkinseeds
– ½ Ripe Avocado
– 1 egg ( optional no egg for vegan)
– Dressing: 1 Cup Greek yoghurt,
– 1 Pack Chickpea Pasta
– 200 G Crimini Mushrooms
