The principles of eating and diet are really simple. Our beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ taught us that less is more. To sip water and not chug it. To not fill our stomach to its fill. To breath and chew properly.
Food is the primary reason for illness, if we eat too much of it or if we eat the wrong harmful types. His approach to food was very organic. His usual eating items consist of dates, water, fresh milk, meat dish on buttered bread and an excessive amount of soup.
