Health and wellbeing build on the collective achievements of society, such as healthcare, education and good environmental and working conditions. Our health status feeds back into other goals, including life expectancy, productivity and participation. How can we achieve a healthier life for every member of society and what can we hope for from research in the future?
The Nobel Prize Dialogue is a free-of-charge, full-day event inspired by the Nobel Week Dialogue which has been taking place in Sweden in Nobel Week since 2012. This year it will be hosted in Germany for the first time. The event aims to stimulate discussion on a topical science-related theme by bringing together Nobel Laureates, the world’s leading scientists, key opinion leaders, policy makers, different interest groups and the general public, online as well as on-site. Bridging science and society, it is an opportunity to stimulate thinking, excite imagination and inspire greatness! The Nobel Prize Dialogue Berlin 2019 is produced by Nobel Media AB in cooperation with the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Robert Bosch Stiftung and Volkswagen Foundation. Supporter in kind is Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings.
The Nobel Prize Dialogue is part of Berlin Science Week 2019.
